We loved Desert Shadows, but all of a sudden, I don't know if it is because of new management or ownership but we are no longer welcome because of the age of our RV. Even though it is in excellent condition and in better condition then a lot of newer RVs. I guess loyalty mean nothing. We stayed there from the time our RV was 11yrs. old until it was 22 yrs. old. Go figure!! You get no response on reviews. Apparently they don't care what people say.

Check in was friendly. Stayed 5 nights. Spoke with a number of the residents and found what was being said about the resort was not quite as advertised. First day witnessed an argument between a man and woman that were not part of the park that led to them accelerating out of the property at over 30 miles an hour. Then listened to how thing were not fixed in a timely manner. Then had our bikes stolen (they cut though two cables one of which was 1/2 inch thick). Their is no security gate and the park is not in the best part of town. I have now called back twice to see if they had any security footage and can't get a return call. I would stay away if security and safety are you primary concerns.

This RV Park is immaculately maintained. The sites are clean, level, and everything is in good working condition. We have a 43' rig with a long bed dually and had plenty of room to be comfortable. The amenities are absolutely fabulous, with lots of activities during the winter season. The indoor pool was the cleanest pool I've ever had the pleasure of swimming in, as was the spa. The staff is friendly and helpful, as are the neighbors. The location is great, and the park is definitely big rig friendly. We will definitely return!

Didn't feel welcome here. The lady at the office was quite rude. Every interaction with her was met with very short/stand-off-ish responses. We had a pull through site. It's not paved - it's just rocks. This isn't ideal for young families with a stroller. It's nearly impossible to push/pull a stroller through the site. I had to carry the entire stroller out to the sidewalk everytime I wanted to use it. The site has no picnic table - there's only a bench. The amenities buildings (laundry, washrooms/showers, clubhouse, etc) aren't air conditioned. I wouldn't recommend this place if you have children. It's not family-friendly. Kids have limited pool usage hours - 12:00pm-2:00pm and 5:00pm-7:00pm. It's made to feel as if children are seen as a nuisance or just an after thought. The free coffee is not good. The best part of this RV Park is the free ice.

We were there for a month and had a very nice stay. Staff is very professional and friendly. Park is kept nice and they have lots of activities. The pool area could use a face-lift but is clean. Centrally located to the 17 and the 101. We will definitely be back.

The community seems very close-knit. Staff was extremely helpful in trying to locate a resident there. Very clean and a lot of activity for the residents.

This place is a little gem. It has an indoor pool and jacuzzi , great men and women separate shower and bathrooms, great water pressure. Outdoor activities , pool table .board games, Small library (older books). it was pretty quiet at night. In the morning you could see.people packing up or getting maintenance. Dog friendly , but not messy with dog debris. The RV hookup was easy, reasonable rates .
